villa escudero waterfall restaurant Manila, Philippines

A few years ago I saw this beautiful waterfall restaurant picture in the internet and decided one day i will be there. The place is looking totally different than what I thought, there was a little disappointment about the waterfall. Basically, there is a river up there and it was man made waterfall and buffet lunch at the “Waterfalls was terrible. My advise for those who want to visit is try to bring your beloved ones and have a nice chit chat with a drink. There is a AERA Foundation museum really worth it. (basically a collection of anything and everything collected by the Escudero family for the last 100 years in a musty recreation of a church including stuffed dead animals, dead insects, religious idols & artifacts, perfume bottles, ceramic pots, national costumes from other countries, umbrellas, furniture and etc.The entrance fee for the day (975 PHP approx 20USD) included water buffalo cart ride about 5 minutes with a Filipino singer and guitarist crooning local music along the way.
